Using the App Offline on iOS Devices

The CaptuData mobile app is designed to work both online and offline, making it ideal for fieldwork in areas with limited or no connectivity.

Follow the steps below to make sure you can work without interruptions 

1. Download the App

Before you begin:

  • Make sure the CaptuData app is installed on your device.

  • Verify that it’s updated to the latest version.

2. Log In

  1. Connect to the internet.

  2. Open the CaptuData app.

  3. Log in with your credentials.

  4. Confirm that you have access to the project(s) where you’ll perform fieldwork.

WarningImportant: The app only works offline if you’ve already logged in beforehand.

If you log out and then lose your internet connection, you won’t be able to access the app.

3. Use the App Offline

Once you’re logged in and inside your project:

  • You can collect information and perform inspections without being connected to the internet.

  • The data will be stored locally on your device until you reconnect.

4. Sync Your Data

NotesTo upload your information to the server, an active internet connection is required.

Steps:

  1. Reconnect to the internet.

  2. Open the app.

  3. Go to the “Synchronization” or “Upload Inspections” section.

  4. Wait until the process completes successfully.

Before heading to the field, make sure you’re logged in and have access to your project.
This way, you can work seamlessly — even if you lose your connection while performing inspections.
