How to Synchronize an Inspection on iOS Devices

Once you’ve completed your inspection in the CaptuData mobile app, it’s important to synchronize your data so that it’s properly recorded in the administrative panel and can be viewed on the web platform.

Follow these steps to ensure a successful synchronization

Step 1: Finalize the Inspection

Before synchronizing, make sure you have completed all required fields.
Only closed or finalized inspections can be uploaded to the system.

Tip: Review your inspection before finishing to confirm all evidence and responses are complete.

Step 2: Connect to the Internet

⚠️ Requirement: Synchronization can only be performed while connected to the internet.

For better speed and stability, it’s recommended to use a Wi-Fi connection.

Step 3: Open the Inspections List

Go to the “Completed Inspections” section in the app.

Each inspection will display additional options when you swipe to the right on it.

Step 4: Synchronize the Inspection

  1. Tap the “Synchronize” button.

  2. The app will enter a short waiting period while uploading the data to the cloud.

  3. When the synchronization completes successfully, the system will mark the inspection with a blue indicator, confirming it was synced properly.

Result: Your inspection data is now stored in the CaptuData cloud.

Step 5: View Your Data on the Web Platform

Once the inspection has been synchronized:

  • You can view all information from the administrative web panel.

  • If you want other users with project access to see it, you must publish the inspection from the web platform.

WarningRecommendations
  • Use Wi-Fi whenever possible to avoid delays or interruptions.

  • Avoid recording very long videos, as this can slow down the upload process.

  • Wait until the blue indicator confirms successful synchronization before closing the app or turning off your device.
