How to Synchronize an Inspection on Android Devices
How to Synchronize an Inspection on Android Devices
Once you’ve completed an inspection, it’s important to synchronize your data so that all collected information is properly uploaded and documented in the administrative panel.
After synchronization, you’ll be able to view the information on the web platform, and any users with access to the project will also be able to review it.
Remember: to publish the inspection for others to see, it must be published from the web platform.
Step 1: Check the Inspection List
In the main list of completed inspections, each inspection is displayed in a box containing two buttons:
Important: If you delete an inspection before synchronizing it, all collected field data will be lost.
Step 2: Synchronize the Inspection
Tap the three-dot (⋮) button next to the inspection you want to sync.
Select the “Synchronize” option from the menu.
The synchronization process will begin automatically, uploading your data to the CaptuData cloud.
Result: Once completed successfully, the cloud icon will turn blue, indicating the inspection has been synchronized.
Recommendations Always connect to a Wi-Fi network before syncing to ensure stable and fast data upload.
Avoid recording very long videos, as they can slow down the synchronization process.
Wait until the upload finishes before closing the app or turning off your device.
