How to View Observations from a Route-Type Inspection on Android Devices

The CaptuData mobile app includes an “Observations” button that allows you to view all the evidence collected during a route-type inspection.

Follow the steps below to access and review your observations 

Step 1: Open the Observations List

During or after an inspection, tap the “Observations” button.
A new screen will open showing a list of all observations, organized in chronological order according to when they were created.

Step 2: Review Observation Details

Each observation in the list is labeled with a number that corresponds to the order in which it was recorded during the inspection.

In addition, each observation includes detailed information such as:

• Date the observation was made.

• Time the evidence was collected.

✅ Result: You can easily identify when and where each observation was recorded.

Step 3: Manage Observations (If the Inspection Is Still Open)

If the inspection has not yet been finalized, you can:

• Delete observations you no longer need.

• Remove or replace evidence linked to any observation.

Once the inspection is finished, the observations become read-only and can no longer be edited or deleted.

Keeping your observations organized helps ensure better traceability of field data and simplifies the review process in the web platform later on.
