How to Assign project to Users?

In CaptuData, you can assign project to users in two different ways:

  1. During user creation → When setting up a new user profile, you can directly assign specific  projects to them.

  2. From the projects screen → By editing existing jobs and assigning them to specific users.


🔹 Assigning project from the User Section

  1. Go to the Configuration Panel.

  2. Open the Users section.

  3. Select the user you want to assign jobs to and click Edit User.

  4. Use the filters to search for programs by their status (In Preparation, In Progress, or Finished).

  5. From here, assign the corresponding jobs to the selected user (as shown in the image below).

Assigning jobs ensures that users can access only the works and projects relevant to them.

Permissions depend on the role assigned (Inspector, Supervisor, Facilitator, etc.).




Assigning project to a User

Then, you will be able to select the projects you want to assign.

Use the arrows between the boxes to move projects from the Available list ➡️ to the Assigned list (as shown in the image below).

Once moved, the user will immediately have access to the assigned projects.


How to Assign Users to Project in CaptuData

To assign users to specific jobs, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the projects section.

  2. Apply the necessary filters to locate the project.

  3. A list will appear with all the projects that belong to the selected program.

  4. From this list, select the project you want to update.

  5. Click Edit to open the project details (as shown in the image below).

 From here, you can assign users to the job and configure access as needed.

 Assigning Users Within a Project

When you open the  project details, the system will display all the project information.

At the bottom of the screen, you will see a list of all users. From here, you can:

  1. Select the users you want to assign to the job.

  2. Use the arrows between the boxes to move them from the Available list ➡️ to the Assigned list (as shown in the image below).

 Once assigned, these users will have access to the selected job.


Assigning Facilitators to a Program

Please note that Facilitators can be granted access to the entire program and all the jobs created within it.


🔹 How to assign facilitators

  1. Go to the “Org Chart” tab.

  2. Apply the necessary filters (by status and country) to display all programs.

  3. Select the program you want to edit.

  4. In the edit view, you will see the list of available Facilitators.

  5. Assign the facilitators to the program as shown in the image below. }

Notes

Facilitators assigned at the program level automatically gain access to all jobs created within that program.

Access rights may vary depending on your role permissions.
